We're at that point where it hurts to live because everything seems like a waste. What are we doing with our lives? Where is all this work going? And then we stop working and we shut down. I don't know, maybe to subconsiously protect ourselves from failure out of fear of not making it or not ever finding love...And i think we need to not do that. So we're not in love. So what? There's time...We just have to use it.
I feel like I don't have control. With Sam. Not because I don't, but because I'm in a relationship and I don't have the power to not be. Even if just for a night, I don't have the power to be someone else other than "Sam's girlfriend". I'm an individual. This new label was attached to me so suddenly and I can't handle it.

I have a messed up face. Think Hatchetface in Crybaby... Except not so horrible. I'm pumped with steroids which label "rage" as a common side effect and my arms are black and blue and sore where they were poked and prodded by an incompetent nurse who must have gotten a kick out of seeing me squirm. I'm just such a weirdo in general. I don't get it. Like, really. I just don't understand why I can't move half of my face and I'm angry and mad and moody because I'm on prescription drugs and all this bad stuff is happening to me and I don't get it. Even the hospital bracelet is a rip off. What happened to the hand-written, utterly poetic, mental institution type of cheap and quite poorly made bracelets that you see in the movies? I got stuck with a skinny see-through strap that smells like a cabbage patch doll and a printed out sticker with my name and birthdate. It's so not what I was looking forward to. Did you know that hospital bracelets are put on every patient admitted into the ward to be used as identification in case they die while there?

I have a fun-filled weekend planned fo' sho'. Scenester days and lots of pizza. My cousin Ray is in and she is one cool girl.

Teen Arts was today. It was fun. Definitely not as good as last year, though. See, last year Coco and I made Teen Arts into an all out hippyfest. We braided eachother's hair, danced like idiots during the jam session, and smoked a lot of fucking cigarettes. I guess this year hippy is out and 'scene' is in because the attire at this year's Teen Arts was nothing but tight jeans (on the boys only of course), hardcore styled hairdo's (freshly dyed black), and the coolest of cool band t-shirts. Oh, and plastic frame glasses. Can't forget the glasses.
Basically, this year was just eh. Coco wasn't there because she's an idiot and likes to get trashed way too much, so I hung with Paige. I love Paige to death. Like actually to death. Seriously. Overall, the feeling this year just wasn't as 'carefree and easy' as it was last year. Although the jam session guy was back and talking about Burning Man and voting for the right candidate in the election (duh). Then he winked at me as he drove away. Oh how I love 25 year old men with dreadlocks. Erm, no.
